Background: Hello, my name is Lee Turner and it is my privilege to be part of the Professional Team here at Betchworth Park Golf Club. I have been a passionate golfer since the age of 10 and pursed a golf career in my early 20’s starting at American Golf. A switch in career and a successful 20 years a Computer Science teacher followed. However, my dreams of becoming a professional golfer never went away and I decided to give it another go. Fortunately, the fantastic people here at Betchworth gave me the chance and here I am! I am looking forward to helping the club and the members have the best possible experience on the course and with their golf.

Favourite Golf Course: Spey Valley
Favourite Golfing Memory: Playing in my football club annual golf day for the first time, I received the usual mickey taking from my teammates. Working for American Golf at the time they had deemed me a professional already! A nervous necky cut off the first tee was jeered but fortunately I prevailed and shot a gross 67 (-4) which quickly silenced my teammates!
Favourite Football Team: Arsenal FC
Top Tip: Check your aim, stand behind the ball and use your club to aim. Pick something on the ground along the line a few meters in front and aim to it. This will help you swing with confidence.
